    Pharmacological activity of 2,3,8-tri-O-methyl ellagic acid isolated from the stem bark of Irvingia gabonensis[Reference: WebLink]

    METHODS AND RESULTS:
    2,3,8-Tri-O-methylellagic acid was isolated from the stem bark of Irvingia gabonensis. The acid showed significant antimicrobial activity on some pathogens.
