Description:

DL-Tartaric acid could as a food additive.It also as a chelating agent.

Axal-view CCD-ICP-AES determination of trace metals elements in food additive DI-tartaric acid.[Reference: WebLink]

METHODS AND RESULTS:
A method of microwave digestion axial-view CCD-ICP-AES was applied to determine trace metals elements Pb,As,Ca in food additive DL-tartaric acid.Operation parameters of CCD-ICP-AES and condition were optimized and selected.The detection limit was Pb: 3.5×10-3 μg/mL,As: 5.0×10-3 μg/mL,Ca: 1.3×10-3 μg/mL.The RSD was in the range of 2.2%~6.0% and the recovery was in the range of 90%~96%.
CONCLUSIONS:
The results was satisfactory for food additive DL-tartaric acid.
